Club Sport Classes - Introduction to fencing and recreational fencing at Club Sport in Tigard.

     We are proud to offer introduction to fencing classes, recreational fencing and mini-camps through Club Sport's Tigard location. Our head coach, Charles Randall is also the head fencing coach at Club Sport. He personally teaches the introductory and continuing recreational fencing classes for those who just want to fence for the joy of it.     FALL/WINTER schedule at Club Sport is:
        8-14 yr. olds Tuesdays from 7 - 8:00 p.m.      14 - adult  Thurs. 7 - 8:00 p.m

    PDX In House Classes (held at PDX Fencing)  and Fee Schedules 

Beginner's Lev. 1	Saturdays 9:00 a.m - 10:30 a.m.	First timers or if you have taken an intro camp. Learn the basics - safety, defense, attacks, rules and basic strategy. Come on in any Sat. no need to wait. We loan you the equipment free for the first month so you can try it out. After that start by purchasing a mask and glove. Build from there.	$60.00 per month
Level 2	Tues. & Thurs. 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.	Building on the basics, increased tactics, strategy, technique, timing and physical conditioning in a fun and active environment. Start to open bout in our Friday evening in house sessions, then move into local competitions if desired. Students must have their own equipment.	$75.00 per month
Level 3	Tues., & Thurs. 5:00 - 6:30, & Wed. 5 - 6 p.m	Intermediate tactics, techniques, physical and mental training. Creative problem solving, developmental exercises add on to a solid foundation that is constantly reinforced. Students are competing in house and locally. Those that desire start the competition circuit first regionally then nationally in appropriate categories.	$100.00 per month
Level 4	Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. 5-6:30 & Wed. 6 - 7 (open bouting till 8:00 p.m for adult & lev. 4)	Competitive level fencing EVEN if you just want to stay recreational. Fence to your highest potential. Advanced tactics, strategy, mental and physical conditioning. Physical chess at it's most exciting - creative problem solving at lightening speed. Prepare and fence for collegiate, national and international fencing. For those that want to stay recreational, train hard and become great sparring partners for those going national & international.	$150.00 per month
Adult Class	Wed. 7 - 8 p.m., Fri. 5:30 - 6:30 plus open bouting Fri. 6:30 on. Sat. 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Sat. open bouting 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.	Fun and fast moving, learn to master the sword effectively. Appropriate for all ages 16 and over. Fence with your child, we have several parent - child fencers. Many people fence well into their 90's. Stay young at heart and fit at the same time. There is a fun and active adult community in the area and Seattle with local competitions for adults. If you get serious lets go national and even international!	$ 75.00 per month
